Located between the shores of Derwent Water and the great fells of Skiddaw; Keswick Archery Club welcomes archers of all types and experiences as well as those interested in the sport and practice.

Planning on visiting North Lakes? Are you a GNAS archer looking for a place to shoot or compete? Or perhaps you have never picked up a bow but have always fancied giving it a shot. Whatever the reason, look no further!

We offer ‘have-a-go sessions’ and Beginner Courses where we provide all the equipment with coaching by GNAS qualified and extensively experienced archers. It does not matter whether you shoot a Longbow, Recurve, Flatbow or Compound, nor does it matter if you just want to shoot for fun or trophies. We compete in competitions and hold some of our own as well.

We are a very family friendly club! Our two head coaches are a father-daughter duo and many of our members have also joined along with their family. We suggest starting above the age of 6 and we have had archers shoot in their 90s!

Half the year (April – September) you can find us on our 100m range at Keswick Rugby Club before we move into Keswick’s old Pencil Factory on the other half (October – March).
